Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 11 August 2026
1. Who we are
This site is operated by Cricklands Limited, trading as Showground Photography ("we", "us"). You can contact us at photos@cricklands.com or by post at Showground Photography, David Broome Event Centre, Crick, Portskewett, NP26 5XP.
By creating an account or making a purchase you agree to these terms. Nothing in them affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
2. What we sell
- Access Passes — unlock viewing of the photographs from an event and include a number of credits to spend.
- Credits — a prepaid balance spent on digital downloads, prints and montages on this site.
- Digital downloads — photographs you unlock and download, kept available in your online library.
- Prints and montages — physical prints of photographs, and montage images you compose from photographs you have bought, either downloaded or printed and posted to you.
3. Your account
You must give accurate details and keep your password safe; you are responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend or close an account used in breach of these terms (for example, attempts to scrape images or circumvent watermarks). You can close your account at any time by contacting us.
4. Credits and Access Passes
- Credits can only be spent on this site. They have no cash value, are non-transferable, and are not redeemable for money except where the law requires.
- Credits expire 12 months after the date of purchase.
- An Access Pass applies to the event it is bought for. Once you have used an Access Pass to view gated photographs, the viewing element has been supplied; unspent credits included with it remain yours to spend.
5. Digital downloads and your licence
Copyright in every photograph remains with Showground Photography. When you buy a download (including a montage) we grant you a personal, non-commercial licence: you may keep copies, print for yourself, and share on personal social media. You may not sell, license, alter to remove identification, or use the images commercially. For commercial use, contact us at photos@cricklands.com to arrange a licence.
Cancellation: when you buy digital content you agree that we supply it immediately, and you acknowledge that you lose the 14-day right to cancel once the download or montage creation begins (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013). If a download is faulty or not as described you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund.
Event galleries are typically available to browse and buy from for three months after the event. Download anything you buy promptly — photos you have already bought stay available in your account library.
6. Prints and montage prints
- Prints are produced to order from the photograph or montage you choose, so the 14-day change-of-mind cancellation right does not apply to them (they are personalised goods). Your rights for faulty, damaged or misdescribed items are unaffected — we will reprint or refund.
- Prints are dispatched within 14 days of your order; postage is charged as displayed at checkout.
- Please check your delivery address carefully — we cannot refund prints posted to an address given incorrectly.
7. Prices and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT (Cricklands Limited, VAT registration 826587491). Card payments are processed securely by Stripe; we never see your full card details. If a price is displayed in obvious error we may cancel the purchase and refund you before dispatch/download.
8. Refunds and problems
If something is wrong — a corrupt download, a damaged print, a montage that didn't render as shown — contact photos@cricklands.com and we will put it right with a replacement, reprint or refund. This does not limit your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
9. Photographs of you
Photographs are taken at events and may include you. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data and how to request removal of photographs.
10. Acceptable use
You must not scrape or bulk-download images, share your account to give others access to gated galleries, remove or work around watermarks, or resell any content. Preview images remain our property and may not be copied or published.
11. Our liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Otherwise, our total liability to you in connection with a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control (for example postal strikes or hosting outages), though we will do our best to minimise disruption.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the date above shows the current version. Changes apply to purchases made after they are published — not retrospectively.
13. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and you can bring proceedings in your local courts. If you are unhappy with how we have handled a complaint, contact us again at photos@cricklands.com — we would rather fix it than argue about it.
